Welcome to the Pajaro Valley Aviation Academy

The Pajaro Valley Aviation Academy (PVAA) helps local youth pursue careers in aviation by providing scholarships for education in aviation fields from aircraft maintenance to pilot training. We are not a school; our purpose is to grant scholarships.

Since its inception in 2000, the PVAA has provided over $160,000 in scholarships for Private Pilot certificate to Jet rating to Airline Transport Pilot certificate.

Over 80 percent of the money, almost $135,000, was spent at Watsonville Municipal Airport flight schools, thereby putting that money back into the local economy.
